Profhilo® Face

This treatment is perfect for anyone wanting to address visible signs of ageing by improving skin laxity. Profhilo® also works to repair skin effected by skin conditions such as Eczema. We only recommend Profhilo® for patients aged 18 and over and do not recommend to anyone who is pregnant, breastfeeding or have a hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid.

Do not drink alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment. Avoid using aspirin or any other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for 48 hours before the treatment, unless they are taken for a chronic medical condition. Do not wear make-up for the appointment.

A course of 2 individual treatments is needed to see results, spaced 4-6 weeks apart, a course lasts 6 months. After you have had your course we recommend topping up with one individual treatment every 6 months.

Expect naturally younger-looking skin and a visible reduction of acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles. Areas of sagging skin will become firmer and have a radiant glow. Eczema sufferers using Profhilo® benefit from intense skin hydration to soothe their symptoms.

Avoid aspirin, alcohol and vigorous exercise for 48 hours after the treatment and no sunbathing or extreme heat or cold for 14 days post-treatment. Any bruising, though very rare, may take a few days to appear we recommend arnica to help clear bruising.

When injected using the five-point technique on each side of the face, each insertion is immediately noticeable. However, they start diffusing very quickly and they disappear completely by the next day we do advise that you avoid wearing makeup until the next day. 


No allergy test is required prior to treatment. The risk of allergic reactions is substantially reduced because Profhilo® does not contain any synthetic chemicals which some people might react to though some people may experience redness, slight bruising, tenderness as well as itching at the injection sites but this should resolve within 24 hours.
